Kleos

Kleos is one of those metal bands that doesn't have the constant chugging or a million breakdowns in their songs.  Guitar Players Andy Lawrence & Adam Denoth both bring catchy riffs and mind blowing solos and Clay Burk holds the rhythm down tight like a dolphins butt. Vocalist Johnathan Burris uses all of his ranges (highs, mids, and lows) showing how much range he truly has. Drummer Adrian Galindo shows his ability to do blast beats and various grooves while keeping all of the guitars and vocals on point. The band also manages do make the riffs dark and heavy with a mix between Thrash and Progressive Death Metal. Kleos is definitely unlike any other local Houston band out there. Their sound and stage show it unlike any other band in the scene mainly because they have such a mature sound and all of their shows are kept so tight that it makes it seem like their playing to a click track except for the fact that they aren't  Anyways the band just released an album called “Dying Prayer” which is on iTunes, band camp, etc. I give it a 10/10 just for being so creative and mind blowing on every song. Most bands you can predict what’s coming, but with Kleos you can’t and it also doesn't get old. I can listen to the same song from them 10 times in a row without it getting old. My Personal favorites on the album are “Get Your Ass To Mars” and “Accidental Incidents”. I definitely recommend you all to check out this album, the band took their time to record this for everyone to check out. IF you don’t trust my judgment you can stream it for free on http://kleos.bandcamp.com/ and even buy it there or check out the previews on ITunes.
